Management of park adopters, supporters and volunteers requires a database to manage and schedule one-time and ongoing volunteers. Park foundations use GivePulse for project management, scheduling, event submission, membership applications and tracking data, all under one central platform.

One Time Groups and Individual Registration

Volunteers that come in for one-time corporate engagements (volunteer time off), service related groups and clubs, or individual volunteerism, may access and register forportunities without crowding the existing database and schedules with ongoing volunteers.

  • Group Registration
    There are many park events and opportunities where large groups will need to register themselves in bulk. We allow group leaders to bulk register their whole team to an event, and most importantly manage and update over time who cancels or add new registrants for the group.
  • Group Reservation
    There are instances where group leads will want to reserve a certain number of available openings but may not know exactly who will fill the headcount. Administrators on GivePulse can reserve a shift or a certain number of spots for the group leader to fill at another time.
  • Custom Fields
    Select from existing fields (e.g., tshirt size, gender, phone number) or create new ones that meet your Park needs, e.g., You can add fields to capture data on which Tools are needed or questions like why they want to volunteer?

Project Submissions

Enable the community to submit events and project ideas for your approval. Edit events, update them, and assign membership roles as needed. Once it’s approved, you may publish the project to begin registering volunteers.

  • Submission
    You can enable park adopters, the community or individuals to submit park project ideas for you to review, update and publish.
  • Review, Edit and Approval
    When there are submissions, the opportunities are placed in a review process where modifications and edits occur. Depending on who all the stakeholders are, there may be additional people who need to edit and approve what is submitted before publishing.

Adopt-a-Park, Friends-of-Parks

Do more with your applications by digitizing them and using their data to paint a clearer picture of your current pursuits.

  • Digital Applications
    Digitize the application so you may manage and let multiple stakeholders review and approve the individual(s) to oversee the park. Once they are approved, you now have a database used to oversee which parks are available for adoption as well as their current points of contact.
  • Subgroups & Portals
    Enable each Adopt-a-Park or Friend of Park to have its own group page overseen under your umbrella. Each subgroup can have multiple admins, create events and manage volunteers all under one hierarchy.
