Event Description | Love the outdoors? Want to do something fun to give back? Join us for Chemical Monitoring of Champion Creek out at Lake Laurel (9:00 - 10:00), GC's East Campus and/or Tobler Creek at Andalusia (10:30 - 12:00). No experience necessary! We will use Georgia Adopt-a-Stream methods to test temperature, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and pH of the stream all while enjoying the beauty of GC's East Campus and Andalusia Farm! Be sure to wear clothes that can get dirty/wet and closed toed shoes (the streams are at most shin deep)! Bring bugspray and sunscreen too! Since we will be outside, we will social distance and masks are encouraged but not required. Space is limited to 10 participants! |
