DETAILS:

*All volunteers need to have a signed waiver with them, **Humans under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and ***parent or guardian must sign their waiver.

Come out to the Back to Natives Nursery at Santiago Park to help us grow native plants to use in habitat restoration and to sell to raise funds for our service learning program! We are seeking long term volunteers to train for this location. If you are seeking a 'one-time volunteer activity' please sign up for Cuesta Kato, Santiago Creek, or San Mateo Wilderness!  If you are serious about learning how to maintain the BTN Nursery, and propagate locally native plant species over many weeks, then please sign up here!

Activities may include watering, weeding, propagating, transplanting and more! We can accommodate up to 6 volunteers at a time. Volunteer hours are 10AM to 1PM.

Long pants and long sleeves recommended. Wear sunscreen, a hat, and closed toed shoes (hiking shoes preferred). Bring a snack and a re-usable water bottle filled with water. We will meet at the Back to Natives Nursery @ Santiago Park. *Humans under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

*Please leave your pets at home, as they can compromise habitat areas through scent and scat markings.
