Event Description

November 7-8, 2019

The 5th Annual Diversity Summit, presented by the Office for Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement, aims to create a space for attendees to engage in critical, thoughtful, and challenging dialogue to inform how we understand ourselves, the larger landscape of higher education, and ways to continue building the most inclusive campus climates on individual and communal levels.

The annual summit features workshops, lectures, panels, and poster presentations on a variety of diversity-related topics, including race and racism, bias, sexuality and gender, and religion, faith, spirituality, and beliefs, and more.

We invite attendees to bring their full selves into the space in order to think in deeper and more complex ways about these foci areas.

Please email the Diversity Summit Committee at gwudiversitysummit@gwu.edu or call (202) 994-7434 with any questions.
