Event Description

CALLING ALL NATURE LOVERS!

Palouse Land Trust with the help of Matt Norton (Senior studying Recreation, Sport, and Tourism Management at the University of Idaho) is looking for 4-5 volunteers on dispersed dates throughout the year for a trail building project. The land trust is excited to have you come on board to build sections of what will be Neuman Conservation Easement. This easement trail system will be 1.1 miles long and located on a landowners' property in Troy, ID.

This is also an opportunity for YOU who need philanthropy hours. Due to the nature of the volunteer work during COVID-19, ONLY 4-5 volunteers at a time will be needed on the selected dates. This being said, these volunteer events will allow you to give back to a local landowner, volunteer outside, and learn how land trusts operate.

*All materials/tools will be provided in addition to hats and hot chocolate. We ask that you provide your own transportation due to COVID-19. Matt Norton will be teaching how to use trail tools and give a presentation on the layout of the trail on site. When you get close to the property, the grass parking lot is located on the right.

Palouse Land Trust and Matt Norton look forward to seeing you there.
