  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to attend an in-person event. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Description

Description: A tour of the facility will be provided during the project hours of 8am-noon.  Women’s Bean Project will need help with outdoor landscaping, cleanup, and gardening. After the winter months, and new growth of the spring, The Bean will need some cleaning and tidying up outside of our facility. The project includes different outdoor tasks such as weeding, trash pickup, trimming of shrubs and overgrowth, in a socially distanced and safe manner.   
 
Dress: Wear comfortable shoes. Must be closed heel and toe.    Must wear a hairnet. We provide.   Mask, gloves, sun hat, comfortable clothing, and footwear for outdoors (weather conscious). Water bottle & sunscreen recommended.  No gum, candy, food, cough drops, etc.     No fake nails or nail polish.   Comfortable clothing, jeans are fine (no holes or tears) Top/shirt must have sleeves.  Can be short, just armpit must be covered.   Facial hair must wear net. We provide.   No jewelry.  No water bottles on the production line. You can bring water bottles.  Production will tell you where they can be stored.   

Requirements:  
Must be 18 or older.   Please, no phone calls while working production.  If an emergency arises, please leave the production floor, and resolve in another room or outside.  The women are NOT allowed to have their phones, and everyone must be treated equally.   Be mindful of your conversations.  Our women have not had the same opportunities in life and talking about your last vacation or steak dinner out may negatively affect her self-confidence. Any conversations about drug, alcohol, or sex are inappropriate.     Many of these requirements are FDA regulations we must adhere to.   Leave valuables in your car/trunk.   Remember, you are a role model for our women. They will watch your behavior to emulate. We are a business and have daily goals to meet.

Parking: There is parking along both Curtis St. And 32nd St. (we are at the corner); however, we recommend parking along 32nd St. because Curtis St. provides 2-hour parking only.
