Shift Details

Shift NameArkansas Bend Park - Afternoon (Group 2)
Description
Join us at Arkansas Bend Park for a hike over to the South Peninsula to pick up years of lake debris and trash from trees. This site is a good fit for families with older kids and adults that are able to hike a long distance (medium-level of mobility and fitness required). Please bring a water bottle, snacks and motivation to pick up as much trash as possible! Sturdy boots, pants and a long sleeve shirt are highly recommended.  We'll provide the trash bags and other supplies. When you enter the park, let them know you are volunteering and head to our meeting spot at the trailhead parking lot.

Please note that if we do not have sufficient registrants for this afternoon site, it is subject to cancellation. If it is cancelled, we will contact you directly by April 15th.
