Alexis and I played school, ate a snack, and beaded some necklaces! She was really excited to teach me about math :)
Alexis and I had a lot of fun at the bowling event! She really enjoyed bowling, sharing her ball with her lane-mates (?) and eating pizza and I really enjoyed watching the joy in her eyes as I witnessed her get three spares in a row!
Alexis came a little early to eat dinner in the caf with me before we set about campus, trick or treating in all of the first year dorms. She had a lot of fun seeing all of the doors that were decorated and talking to some of the residents of the building. I was really proud to see her climb out of her shell a bit and knock on doors herself. She also was proud to know that she got over 50 pieces of candy :)
Today Alexis and I got a snack, played some hide and seek, worked on some homework, and watched a couple minutes of a video on YouTube. It was really fun seeing what she has been working on in school, and I also had a proud Big Partner Moment when she showed me her perfect score test and her good behavior chart!
I met with Alexis and her Mom for a chat over dinner before heading to the matching event! We were partners last year, but they wanted to come again anyways so we would have more time together. Alexis and I ran around ( a lot), colored, played on some of the foam mats in Lund, and colored more. I missed her a lot over the summer and was happy to see her again tonight!
It was a super fun training with my Favorite coordinators ever! :)
After a little trouble with pushing back times, I did get to take Alexis and her family to the BPLP picnic today. She and her little brother had fun eating pizza and bouncing on the bouncy castles!
Alexis was a little indecisive today, but she had her head set on playing make-believe restaurant after she saw the kitchen in the Dive. She had a lot of fun serving me up ice-cream and chicken nuggets and sending me to go swim in the "pool" ( the dance floor).
Alexis and I met up in the Dive for snacks, beading bracelets, and the game "Kerplunk." She had a lot of fun trying to make it so I got the most marbles. It also made me very happy to see her make a bracelet for her little brother.
Alexis and I had a whole lot of fun today! We started out the day grabbing some ice cream, and then we went to the Discover the Outdoors Event in the arb. She had a lot of fun planting a flower, catching waterbugs, and learning how to tie a pillow just to name a few things. After we did that, we went back to the main part of campus and painted nails! It was a lot of fun.
