A lot of our clients were called off for unknown reasons so our delivery was short. I have noticed at this point that the clients are engaging more in conversation.
Our travel route was easier, but on this one we did have a not at home so we gave the plate to the following client in respect to his meal label.
For our first day, my group and I did very well. It was a smooth delivery and all of the clients were there to receive their meals.
We discussed our responsibilities as drivers and passengers. The training involved situations that we might face such as; if the client is not at home, the client doesn't seem well, contacting the client/ Meals on Wheels. The meals are labeled according to dietary guidelines given by the clients doctor, therefore we must be careful to hand out the correct one. Meals on Wheels avoids wasting food so we are to avoid doing that as well, but with consideration to the dietary guidelines.
