I had the opportunity to assist the BCM with their weekly events such as Focus and Family Group. It was a great experience being able to serve alongside an organization who values the city of Memphis as well as the UofM. I appreciated the efforts the BCM made to continue their mission in the midst of Covid-19.
Assisted in the set up/tear down of BCM events as well as served in various capacities throughout the semester.
Assisted in multiple event set-ups and tear-downs as well as assisted the ministry in meeting the needs of the university. I enjoyed volunteering at the BCM and making an impact on campus alongside them.
Volunteered as a 5K races MC. I helped set up and tear down as well as encouraged participants throughout the race.
Helped tear down after worship night events, set up and clean for free lunch on Wednesday, and assisted the ministry in its day to day functions
Set up and clean up for flow.
Setting up, serving, mopping, sweeping, and cleaning up after FLOW
I helped set up for a charity event hosted by Church Health at Carriage Crossings. I swept up trash, moved tables, set up vendor's booths, and carried lots of supplies. It was a great experience knowing that I was helping an event that provides funds for a health care company based on biblical principles. The event was a success and I am glad I had an opportunity to help the event operate smoothly.
