Created a lesson game from scratch but the kids were not a fan of it. That's rough, but it is all a learning experience, and we'll do better next week. At least they liked the oragami!

I really love my class. The explorers theme is very fun, and even though we've had some rocky moments, it's really great to see how thoughtful and independent the kids are becoming.

New classroom! Some of the kids recognized me when I came in; that's fun to see.

One of my students drew me a picture of "Jhon F Cennedy", and it was the highlight of my life.

The two trainings I went to were really helpful, and I've got some ideas for when we head back in to the classroom. I want to try some other ways of dividing up teacher responsibilities and of getting the attention of the students. "1, 2, 3, Eyes on me!"

The Halloween on Wriston was a lot of fun, and I think the kids really liked all the crazy games and parties. I feel like I'm starting to really get to know the students, which is a great experience and helps run things. Still working on getting the kids to get involved in the warmups. They tend to like the activities- but really are not fans of standing in circles.

I've started to get to know the kids better these last two weeks and they really are so cool. I love how constantly curious and talkative they are. We're still working on getting them to fully engage with activities, but I'm learning a lot from teachers there.
