I loved walking the dogs, giving them baths, and preparing enrichment boxes for them.
Had a great time setting up for the event, interacting with the kids during the event, and cleaning up once the event was over. Overall, it was a successful event.
I arrived to the event early to help set up. We turned the Crossings Q dorm into a festive party-like place. Then, refugee children showed up and we helped show them what Halloween is about. They got to trick-or-treat, play games, do crafts, eat food, and listen to fun music. When the kids left, I stayed behind to help tear down the event.
