I volunteer with the UT School of Nursing's Disaster Drill at Rec Sports Center. I participated as an injured victim who is lying on the ground covered in loose debris until I was rescued by nursing and social students. Seeing people screaming and running around the room, asking for help make me understand what it will be like to be a nurse, which I am willing to pursue as my career. It was a great experience for me.

With my mentor group, we handed inspirational cards out with a candy to those who passed by at Jester. I feel so pleased to see people reading the words and smiling at the same time. I feel like I make their days and accomplished so much.

Today, I volunteer at Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. All I do was picking up trash, taking out trash and dumping into the trash can. Together, all volunteers made more 2000 meals to be distributed to the needs. It is a great accomplishment and I feel very proud of myself.

I volunteer today at Frank Erwin Center for Longhorn Halloween. I spend 3 hours inflating up helium balloons for booths and concourse. My hands hurt a little bit but I do really enjoy it.

I volunteered at University United Methodist Church. I organized clothes, helped the unfortunate choose clothing that fit them, explained them how many outfits, toothpaste, toothbrush, toiletry item, shoes they can get and lastly, folded the clothes and had them ready by putting them in a bag.
