Chess Club @ First Door w/ Community Education Project of Oregon!

Chess Club @ First Door is an extension to the already growing after-school homework program (First Door) located in Cathedral Gardens Apartments in St. John's! This is to strengthen core concepts of strategy building and building a safe space where kids all ages can come and learn how to play chess and be respectful to one another!
Other focused activities involved reading and problem solving.

Began syncing Class schedule with CEA schedule
Fridays are now completely void of class, which means this will be a day devoted to Office hours and meetings.

Passion Impact Anniversary Gardening Volunteering!

Worked on a local community garden near Legacy Emmanuel Hospital for Passion Impact's Anniversary.
Lots of weed pulling and leaf carrying! The new planting rows do look nice though, it's going to be a great spring/summer.

They gave us a bunch of free veggies on the way out! That was rad!!

Office Hours 2/23/2018:
Completed Week Schedule of Meetings with Volunteers of America (Orientation), and finished few follow up emails to volunteering at OMSI, Organizing notes and dates for Tableing at PCC Cascade Campus, more to follow up after Student Union visit.

FHS Volunteer Fair Panel for upcoming Volunteer Fair May 24th 2018!

Attended presentations of Franklin High School's Volunteer Fair Committees,
Inquired follow-up questions,
Met with each Committee to expand on goals and jobs,

Personal Notes:

Those kids are going to be the best this year, This Volunteer Fair is going to be very important and eventful.
