I did slating for those applying to Panhellenic council. I met two women from every chapter two be voters alongside me and I was conducting interviews for fourteen women from all chapters. I learned so much about Panhellenic and its role for our chapters on campus and met so many inspiring women my own age.
I had a great time helping the freshman move in because I was able to calm some nerves and talk about Greek life as an inclusive conversation and I also met women that aren't in my sorority and it didn't matter which chapter we were in but how we were all sisters regardless.
I felt trusted by the teacher to help my own table of kids and I felt they had a good time learning the alphabet.
I got to work with four students directly and help them with the alphabet without the teacher needing to come my way and hover over me. She trusted me to help the kids and they seemed to have a good time.
The teacher is so welcoming and the students are so funny and sweet and I feel like I can easily talk and read to all the class.
The kids are so sweet and seem to love having someone in class aside from the teacher, and Ms Black is so nice and welcoming and helps me traverse the class full of five year olds.
