Manuel R. Cuellar is an assistant professor of Spanish and Latin American literatures and cultures at The George Washington University. His research and teaching focus on Mexican literary and cultural studies with an emphasis on race, gender, and sexuality. His current book manuscript, Assemblages of a Festive Nation: Queer Embodiments and Dancing Histories of Mexico, studies dancing bodies in public spaces in order to privilege movement as a means to examine questions of citizen formation and national belonging.

contributions for eligible donations and volunteer hours serving eligible Northwest Arkansas nonprofits,
subject to the below guidelines.
VOLUNTEERISM: Walmart will make a grant through GivePulse matching eligible volunteer hours by
community members or associates equal to $10 in honor of each volunteer hour, up to a maximum total
volunteer matching amount of $1,000,000. Details on eligibility of volunteer hours are below.
ASSOCIATE DONATION: Walmart will match completed eligible donations made by associates through
GivePulse on a 2:1 basis during the WalmartGivesNWA timeframe, up to a maximum total donation matching
amount of $1,000,000. Details on eligibility of matching donations are below.

We will make charitable contributions for eligible volunteer hours serving eligible El Paso nonprofits, subject to the below guidelines from November 14th through December 31st, 2019.

The total volunteer matching maximum is $500,000. Walmart will not make additional matching grants for volunteer hours once the matching maximum has been reached.
Period and Deadlines
Volunteers may request a match in the Givepulse system starting on November 14th through December 31st at 11:59 pm (Mountain Time).
Nonprofit organizations will have until January 10th at 11:59 pm (Mountain Time) to complete the matching grant verification process.
Matching grant verifications that are not completed by the nonprofit by January 10th at 11:59 pm (Mountain Time) will not be eligible to receive a matching grant.
