I volunteered at Zoo-lights. Even though it rained, that did not stop them from giving a show. It was amazing. My favorite part would have to be seeing kids smile when they see Santa. Amazing work!
I attended the tree planting at Gaisman Park. I thought it was going to be easy, but man o man, I had to dig a deep hole and make it wide enough for a tree to fit. I needed some help, and luckily a young woman helped me. It was fun because I got dirty, and now every time I visit Gaisman, I will be able to say, “I planted that tree.”
I went to the zoo to do Zoo Boo, and it was my first time doing the event. When I got there, it was kind of weird because I thought I was going to be shy and had to dance and to be honest, I did not know what to expect. In the end, it was fun. I was a greeter and handed out candy at the end of the night. It was super cold, and I forgot to bring my jacket, but besides that, it was the best time ever.
