Passion Impact

Today, we went over the PI policies in details with Stefan and the other interns. I'm glad that we spend time on each one of them because it is important for us (especially when working with other youths or volunteers) to know the legal boundaries and what to do/ not to do. After that, we updated GivePulse for our work yesterday.
We took Roo over to FHS and did some photo shot for our bios. It was fun to experience with all these cameras.
We came back, picked our photos, and Bao would be our photo editor. I continued work on my bio and started planning for the Bagdad Fundraising on Monday.

Passion Impact

Yesterday, we went over the checklist for the Public Relations Intern. Canva, MeisterTask, Google Calendar, and Google Drive were introduced to us for more efficient task management. The interns and a couple of Passion Impact alumni gathered in the office to talk about the core values of PI (what we do, why we do what we do, and how we do it). 67% of the people in workforce are actively disengaged with their jobs, and I'm pretty sure that I don't want to be a part of them.
We then went off to our non-supervised hours when we did whatever we needed to. I updated my LinkedIn profile, updated all volunteer events on Google Calendar, started working on my bio.
Then we helped with the set up of the Gender and Sexuality Workshop. We solved the problem of going Facebook live by some innovative pathway (paper cup and duct tape). We had fun.

Passion Impact

Today, Public Relations Interns came together to start off the summer internship in 2019. We first greet each other by handshakes and an icebreaker to get to know the five of us that are going to spend the majority of our summer together. I got to see Donia again and meet Bao. Passion Xploration was real enjoyable as it allowed us to get to know each other more on a deeper level and be inspired by each others' passion. Then we went over the Internship Curriculum and got a big picture of the things that we need to do from July through September. We also did the food list (which we enjoyed a lot) and checklist (Gmail and Google Calendar). They are going to get us down a long way later on in our job. Excited to start this internship and be over with the stupid flu.
Posted my first promotion post on Instagram & Instagram story.
