    Student has a geography exam at 2pm and is taking it in the learning center. Student was mostly focusing on studying for the exam so this session was a short one.

    He has a final assignment for geography where he has to draw on a paper map and needs to schedule his finals. Student says that he has been been feeling tense for the past couple of days. He has been doing things to relax him such as sitting outside, and taking pictures of birds.

    He has a quiz in geography 265 that he feels confident about. He also has a photography assignment to do before the end of the week. We are trying to set a goal of checking his email every other day.

    We spent most of the time discussing things outside of school and got to know each other more since student is caught up with school work. We also set a time and day for student, mentor, parents and Dr. Evette to meet.

    Student shared that he doesn’t check his email enough and we set a goal to check it every other day to keep up with school. Student is planning on setting a reminder on phone to hold him accountable. We also discussed possible dates that would work to meet with parents.
