Loved walking for such a great cause and had a blast, like always, with my fellow Terrys.

Took two Iraqi refugee families out to Zilker Park for their first time and played sports with them and took the kids to the playground. Volunteered with Liberal Arts Refugee Alliance and Refugee Services of Texas.
I volunteered at the Walk to End Alzheimer's held at Camp Mabry. I helped set up and I helped distribute t-shirts to the walkers. My grandfather suffered from Alzheimer's disease when he was alive, so I know how debilitating the disease can be. It proved inspiring to be surrounded by so many people giving their time to make the world a better place. So many people raised so much money, some over a thousand each. Everyone was kind and friendly. It was a great experience.
