Enjoyed myself at the Habitat for Humanities helping to paint and assist wherever they needed me. Fellowshipping with other organizations in preparing this house for another needy and deserving family, made my day.
This was my first time volunteering to serve the homeless on Thanksgiving. I enjoy serving people who are in need, and I also met a few people and exchanged numbers.A wonderful experience.
Habitat For Humanities ceremonial event presenting an Habitat for Humanities family with the keys to their brand new home. This event was very emotional and rewarding to see a family be presented with the keys to their very own home after years of waiting.
Girls Scouts-Budgeting. I Presented on Personal Budgeting Practices. Overall the Girl Scouts were presented with topics on how to practice budgeting for what you value, learned how to track their spending, found out about ways to save money and create a budget that focused on their values.
This was a very rewarding experience. It refreshed my knowledge on budgeting. The troop responded to questions and asked questions.
