The Salvation Army New Jersey Division has been assisting New Jersey residents since 1880 and helped more than a quarter million people last year throughout the State. Services and programs include food for the hungry, companionship to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless, opportunities for underprivileged children, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and many more services for those in need.

The Salvation Army New Jersey Division currently has 28 Corps Community Centers throughout the State, 137 Service Units, 3 emergency shelters, adult rehabilitation centers, a residential camp and an active Emergency Disaster Services program.

Mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
