Through wellness programs for every age and developing assets in youth 0 - 18, our programs include: swim lessons and aquatics, child care, community development, day camp, sports and recreation, and fitness and wellness for individuals and families.

The Y's mission is to make all of our programs and facilities available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We believe that by giving everyone the opportunity to build spirit, mind and body at the YMCA, it makes the community as a whole stronger.

The Y is a Charity. Each year, the Summit Area YMCA raises funds from generous members and friends through its Annual Fundraiser Campaign. The funds benefit a number of community development programs (such as health screenings and lectures) and teen programs (such as the Black and Latino Achievers), it also provides monetary support to anyone who qualifies a need and who wants to participate in the Y's programs or membership (Y Cares Financial Assistance Program).

Y Cares Financial Assistance --helps working families in need of child care as well as offsets summer camp costs for those unable to pay on their own. Additionally, a portion of Y Cares funds are provided to help pay for adult, family, youth or teen memberships at any of the Y's branches.

Mission: Mission: To strengthen our communities by providing programs incorporating the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
