About

The Denver Rail Heritage Society is a volunteer organization operating the Platte Valley Trolley from the historical Confluence Park area in the heart of Denver. Volunteers operate the trolley and maintain tracks and surrounding grounds. The Society was formed in 1989.

Mission: The Denver Rail Heritage Society, doing business as the Denver Tramway Heritage Society, operates the Platte Valley Trolley in order to preserve the history of Denver's electric transit system so that future generations iwll understand the role the Denver Tramway Company played in shaping Denver's growth and development.
