Student Nutrition Access Center (SNAC)

The Student Nutrition Access Center is the location of USU's food pantry. Our mission is to increase access to nutritious food while educating Aggies about basic needs resources and sustainable food practices. Food pantry patrons may receive assistance once per week, no questions asked.

Volunteer Opportunites:

SNAC Morning Food Recovery

  • Pick up surplus food from the TSC, Quickstop, Hub, Marketplace, and the Junction, east of the Edith Bowens Laboratory School and North of Richard Hall. Volunteers will then portion, sort, and package surplus food (desserts, bread, and pre-cooked meals).

2,000 lb Monday Food Pantry Pickup

  • Retrieve items from Cache Community Pantry and bring them back to SNAC.

SNAC Afternoon Pantry Help

  • Tuesday-Friday: Prepare for in-person patron browsing, answer questions, assist patrons, clean, organize, restock shelves, take out cardboard, sweep/mop, and lock up.

SNAC Staff will train/accompany volunteers on their first shift.
