About
Summertime is harsh for everyone, trees included. The excessive heat and long periods without rain, often made worse by the changing climate are a drain on the trees, which could use a little help. Today we will be collecting water from the creek to give the tree roots a good soaking.
Gloves, tools, shirts, water, and snacks will be provided.
There has been an increase in snake sightings in the park, none of which have been venomous. This said, closed-toed shoes are now required, boots are preferred. Without proper footwear, you will be turned away for safety concerns.
Please bring your own water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes (boots are preferred) and if you have not been fully vaccinated, please wear a mask.
After the event, be sure to record your impact on GivePulse.
