Virtual Tree Talk: Inspiring Communities to Care for Canopy

65% of Charlotte’s tree canopy loss occurs on private property.  And with threats of a hotter climate, habitat loss, and reduced greenspace, we need everyday residents to mobilize their communities to care for our canopy! 

We will be joined by local tree heroes Krysten Reilly, founder of NoDa Tree Save, and Joi Mayo, TreesCharlotte’s Community Engagement Manager, to discuss how they are successfully advocating for trees in their communities and how you can be a tree hero too!
