TreesCharlotte is excited to partner with the City of Charlotte to plant approximately 88 15-gallon trees around Oaklawn Cemetery.
We are looking for 100 volunteers to help plant trees on the morning of January 21st. Register early as our events “sell-out” quickly.
Volunteer groups of 10 or more, please contact Zack Agerton to determine if there is enough capacity.
Tree planting events are great for families and all ages are welcome. To ensure accurate counts and liability forms are signed, we ask that all participants please register separately. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Events are held rain or shine. A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions.
Further details will be sent out the week of the event for those who registered.
