Description

Beat Auburn Beat Hunger (BABH) is an annual student-run event that was created by the Center for Service and Leadership (CSL) and the West Alabama Food Bank. During the seven weeks leading up to the Iron Bowl, the BABH food drive unites University of Alabama students, faculty, staff, alumni, and Tuscaloosa and Northport community members to help fight food insecurity and poverty in West Alabama.

In competition with Auburn University and the Food Bank of East Alabama, BABH challenges both institutions to collect the most food and monetary donations to help their local food bank. Now recognizing the competition's 30th year, we acknowledge the impact that both food drives have had on our state, far beyond the campuses where it began. Since its inception, Alabama and Auburn have combined to raise millions of pounds of food for Alabamians in need!

Hi everyone!
This year I'm thrilled to continue supporting Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger as the Director of Sponsorships!

In 2023, I am spearheading the partnership between Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger and the UA Student Government Association. It's a great honor to serve both of these organizations for the 4th year in a row and to combine their missions to support students on campus who experience food insecurity.

The donations you make to my campaign will go directly to the UA Student Food Pantry. In a state where 1 in 5 experience some form of food insecurity, we'd be naive to think that this same problem doesn't exist on our campus. Join me in the fight against food insecurity and help support our students.

Roll Tide and thank you for your generosity!
