About

MLK Day Worldwide Food Drive is asking for volunteers on January 15th for MLK Day. Volunteers will be collecting and sorting through donations.

Donations from the food drive will be going to the Sylvia Mendez Newcomers School’s food pantry. The Newcomers School helps new immigrants and refugees in High Point, aiding their transition into the community and education system. A pressing challenge they tackle is securing enough food for their students and families. Our food drive aims to help by gathering non-perishable items to provide crucial resources for the school's students.
