Greetings, we’d like to thank you for volunteering with Keep Austin Beautiful.
Cleanup supplies will be provided on-site. If you prefer you may bring your own gloves.
When picking up litter, Keep Austin Beautiful recommends participants do so responsibly and at their comfort level.
When you finish collecting litter, please dispose of any disposable gloves properly by placing them into your trash bag. Make sure your trash bag is securely tied to protect sanitation workers. After placing the trash bag in the designated trash location, immediately wash your hands with soap and water.
· Things to Bring: A FULL bottle of water, a snack, and sunscreen is highly recommended.
A NOTE ON SAFETY: We encourage you to “See and Be Seen!” Be mindful of your fellow volunteers and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times. Dial 911 in case of emergency.
