Roy Guerrero Park Cleanup

Join Keep Austin Beautiful at Roy Guerrero Park to clean up litter from the east end of the park near the Colorado River and learn more about how you can protect your local creek at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 20th!

We will provide cleanup supplies on site as well as sunscreen and bug spray. We will meet near the parking lot  towards the east end of the park, near the playground and park plaza - look for the Keep Austin Beautiful event table and signage!

Please remember to wear close-toed shoes and durable clothing as the terrain may be rough in some areas. Conditions may be wet as we will be working along the creek; please dress appropriately!  Long pants and a hat are also recommended. Be sure to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated. For volunteers with limited mobility, it is recommended to stay along main trails and pathways. Areas closer to the creek side may present an additional challenge.

When arriving at the park, please remember to hide any valuables and lock your car before checking in. Parking is available in the lots within the park. Carpooling is highly encouraged!
