Shell Pantry Days: Food Drop-Off & Community Activation
Presented by the Overton Park Shell and the Neighborhood Christian Center
This season, the Overton Park Shell is joining forces with the Neighborhood Christian Center to help replenish their food pantry and support families in need across our community.
We’re calling on neighbors, friends, and volunteers to come together for Shell Pantry Days — a series of food drop-off and volunteer events dedicated to ensuring no family goes hungry this winter.

Donate Food: Bring non-perishable items to help restock the Neighborhood Christian Center’s pantry.

Volunteer: Assist with sorting and packing donations, loading trucks, and helping distribute food to those who need it most.

Good Morning!
Shell Pantry Days Food Donation Drop-off will continue today despite the rain!!! We invite you to bring your donations to our loading dock area on the right side of the shell if you are facing out from the stage. We no longer require the assistance of any of our volunteers who may have signed up to help with today's event, but we still invite you to come by to donate items if you are able. We will be accepting donations from 12 PM to 6 PM. There will be signage to assist with locating our drop-off entrances. Please follow us on our social media pages for up to date information regarding today and all remaining dates for our stock the stage food pantry drive! Thank you, be safe and be blessed!

Dear Volunteers,
Thank you so much for offering your time and energy to help with our upcoming Charity Food Drive! We’re thrilled to have you on board for this special event — the first of its kind for us — and we truly couldn’t do it without you.
Our volunteer hours are listed as 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, but please know we don’t expect everyone to stay for the full day. The later half of the day (around 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM) is when we’ll need the most hands for sorting donations and loading trucks, so if that works better for your schedule, we’d especially appreciate your help then.
As this is our first time organizing an event of this scale, we’re still working out a few details. Your flexibility and understanding mean the world to us as we find our rhythm. Most importantly, we want you to enjoy the experience — please don’t overextend yourself. Even a few hours of your time makes a big difference.
