About
Volunteer with PSU’s Student Community Engagement Center at Community Warehouse
Looking for a hands-on way to make a difference? Join us as we volunteer with Community Warehouse, a local nonprofit that partners with over 200 agencies to provide essential household furnishings to more than 7,500 individuals and families across NW Oregon and SW Washington each year. With a small staff and hundreds of dedicated volunteers, they make a huge impact in helping people turn empty houses into homes.
During this project, volunteers will assist with ongoing tasks such as bundling silverware, sorting linens, assembling furniture, and other warehouse needs.
What to Wear:
Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants (leggings are fine). Choose shoes that are comfortable for standing and moving around.
Transportation:
We will be meeting no later than 11:15 at the SW Columbia & Park Ave Eastbound bus stop and taking the #6 bus line together. Volunteers who prefer to meet at the site can go directly to Community Warehouse, 3961 NE MLK Blvd, and should arrive by 12:00 pm.
