About
Started in 2021 by Colorado River Alliance and Travis County Parks, the Spring Cleanup brings together local organizations and volunteers to clean up parks and waterways east of downtown Austin.
This community cleanup will take place across beautiful Travis County Parks in East Austin, Pflugerville, Manor, Del Valle, and Webberville. We need people of all ages to help remove trash from downstream parks and creeks—areas that have a significant impact on the Texas Colorado River Basin.
Reserve your spot now to help keep this vital resource clean and flowing for generations to come!
Want to get more involved? We're looking for Volunteer Site Leaders! These leaders work alongside Travis County Parks staff at their cleanup site to direct volunteers, distribute/collect supplies, take photos, and report trash collection. Check "yes" to Site Leader interest in your shift registration, or contact us directly at volunteer@coloradoriver.org to become a Volunteer Site Leader!
Rain Plan? The event will proceed rain or shine. While we don't anticipate problems, if there are severe storms while you are volunteering, please take cover and stay away from open water.
*Park locations may be subject to last-minute schedule changes or additional safety precautions based on site regulations, so please be flexible and understanding if there are changes made to your site. Thank you in advance!
