About
Description
Join us for a 1.5-hour virtual training designed for new and current Course Managers, which were previously called Course Coordinators. In this session, you'll learn about the Course Manager role in eLearn, including the course-level tools and permissions available to help you coordinate content, assignments, quizzes, grades, users, and reports for courses in your area. We'll share key division updates and review the status of the LMS migration, including what to check in your migrated courses.
The session wraps up with two hands-on segments: Blueprinting 101, an introduction to how Blueprint courses work in Canvas and how they can be used to manage shared content across multiple sections, and Preparing Your Teaching Shell, a practical walkthrough of getting your Canvas course ready for the term, from organizing content to reviewing settings before publishing.
Participants will leave with a clear understanding of the Course Manager role, practical steps for reviewing migrated content, and the knowledge needed to prepare Canvas courses for the upcoming term while staying up-to-date on eLearning division initiatives.
