slow walk around most of the garden, starting in the hummingbird garden. saw several sonoran bumble bees. documented one on mealy blue sage. might have seen an american bumble bee, but not sure as it was a shy one.
4 different native bee species seen. frostweed and goldeneye in bloom as well as quite a few tubular flowers that seem to be favored by the bumble bees.
bee monitoring. pyramid flower had the greatest variety including a cute little longhorn bee that was moving fast. hot, but the bees like it hot, so I'll take it.
