SAMMinistries is an interfaith ministry whose mission is to help the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless attain self-sufficiency by offering, with dignity and compassion, shelter, housing, and other services. SAMMinistries also provides volunteers opportunities to be renewed and fulfilled as they serve.
We make a difference together! We could not succeed in overcoming homelessness without you. Volunteers play a significant role in our community. Each and every single individual who invests their time, skill, talent and treasure makes a great difference and bring much value to the work we do in the city of San Antonio.

💡 How to Start Volunteering
- Application: All volunteers must submit an application. Some roles also require a clear background check.
- Hour Tracking: You must accurately log your service time by clocking in and out through the app.
- Service Verification: We can only verify hours that are properly recorded in the app. For any other verification forms, please contact the Volunteer Relations Manager.
