About
740 Rescue Kitchen At Hocking College
Welcome to the 740 Rescue Kitchen —a hub of hope, sustainability, and community action. Our mission is to combat food waste and hunger by rescuing surplus food from local businesses, farms, and markets, transforming it into nutritious meals for individuals and families in need.
As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in every step of the process: sorting rescued food, preparing wholesome meals, packaging them with care, and ensuring they reach our partner organizations for distribution. Whether you’re a seasoned kitchen worker or new to the kitchen, there’s a meaningful role for you here.
