Dare Family Services, Inc.

Dare Family Services has been committed to helping the state's most vulnerable children and families since 1964. The primary service we provide is a specialized, intensive foster care program for children and adolescents who have been removed from their biological families due to severe abuse and neglect. In addition, Dare operates a group home for pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children. We also provide supervised housing for adults with mental retardation.

Mission: Dare Family Services is a private, nonprofit social services agency providing highly specialized, treatment foster care to severely abused and neglected children; housing and support services to mentally retarded adults and pregnant and parenting teens; and outreach counseling services to at-risk families.
