Welcome to our Books Between Kids community on GivePulse! We hope you will be able to join us at the warehouse soon and connect with some of the many literacy lovers in Houston that make up our Books Between Kids volunteer family!

About

Our mission is to serve Houston’s at-risk children by providing them with books to build their own home libraries.

Our community of volunteers collects new and like-new books throughout the city, and then helps to sort and get the books ready for free book fairs called book celebrations. More than 40,000 Houston kids in 33 different zip codes take part in these book celebrations at their schools where they are able to select at least 6 free books to take home, cherish, and keep!
