The Overton Park Shell is where Memphis comes together. Our mission is building community through music & education, finding common ground in a diverse audience.
Each year, we welcome thousands of guests for free concerts, community celebrations, educational & health programs & special events at one of Memphis’ most treasured landmarks. We are committed to creating experiences where everyone feels welcome, connected & part of something meaningful.
Our volunteers are at the heart of it all. They welcome guests, support accessibility, assist with merchandise, gather community feedback, care for our historic venue & help every event run smoothly. Whether you join us for one evening or an entire season, your time directly supports our mission & strengthens the experience we create for Memphis.
You will receive an official volunteer badge, guidance from our team & the opportunity to experience the Shell from a whole new perspective.
