About
Welcome to the volunteer page for the Fredericksburg SPCA! There are a variety of tasks our volunteers help out with every day and we would love for you to join the Fred SPCA Volunteer/Foster Family!
In order to remain an active volunteer you must complete at least 2 hours of volunteer service a month or let our volunteer coordinator know. There is a $25 fee to volunteer with us and you get a cool SPCA Volunteer t-shirt as well. Please be mindful that when you are a volunteer with us, you represent the SPCA so it is important to be kind, thoughtful and meaningful through all interactions at the SPCA.
If you need to complete Court Ordered Community Service hours please email Volunteer@fredspca.org to get the extra application. This is important because without completing this form we will not be able to give you a letter or appreciation for your hours spent volunteering with us.

In the next day or so, I will be editing and tweaking the subgroups on here just to clean things up a bit. So if you see a group removed or changed, don't worry. We will get you all sorted out. I will also be adding new groups for Doggy Day Care, Transports, and possibly some other things. SO, be on the look out for those incase you may want to join!
To lend a hand to Kayte, our fabulous P.E.T.S Coordinator, she has some boxes for us to move. So if you are volunteering in the next couple of days and see boxes of paper and files outside of the clinic door, if you could move them to Narnia, we would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you all so much!
