The Austin Chinese-American Network (ACAN) was officially established on March 9, 2017 as an independent non-profit organization dedicated to serving the local community, promoting Chinese culture, safeguarding Chinese rights and interests, and enhancing the cohesion of the Chinese community.
The Austin Chinese-American Network (ACAN) has been officially certified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. ACAN will promote exchanges and mutual understanding among the Chinese community in the form of cultural activities, encourage local Chinese compatriots to care about government affairs, participate in public affairs and community services, and hope that more Chinese will become leaders in mainstream society.
