Sambhali U.S.

The mission of Sambhali U.S. is to support the courageous women and girls of Rajasthan, India who seek to raise their voices with dignity and self-confidence, build a road to economic independence, and ultimately determine their own destinies. Sambhali U.S. tells their stories, raises funds for programs run by India-based Sambhali Trust, and recruits volunteers to help. We fund programs focused on empowerment, education, vocational training, and gender-based violence.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Sambhali U.S. and we welcome your passion, your experience, and your energy.

With a diverse team spread across the U.S., we operate virtually, making the volunteering opportunities highly flexible and workable around your schedule. We also offer unpaid internships to current college students. Volunteers can support activities of one or more of the following four committees: communications, finance, fundraising, and volunteer engagement. There are also opportunities to volunteer with Sambhali Trust in either the city of Jodhpur or a rural community in India.
