Overview

We’re looking for dependable volunteers to help transport and set up and break down the Water Monster hydration system and additional course materials at designated checkpoints and water oasis locations along the course. This team plays a critical role in keeping riders supported and safe throughout the event.

Responsibilities

• Drive provided truck to assigned checkpoints and water oasis locations 

• Deliver and unload the Water Monster hydration system and related supplies

• Assist with setup according to provided instructions

• Coordinate with checkpoint and course leads

• Ensure materials are organized and ready for rider support

• Assist with basic breakdown if assigned

• Repeat the procedure when bringing the materials back to headquarters after the race. Time tbd

Mandatory Pre-Event Meeting

All volunteers must attend a required meeting prior to race day to:

• Learn proper Water Monster setup and operation

• Review delivery routes and checkpoint assignments

• Understand safety procedures and communication protocols

• Ask questions and clarify responsibilities

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (for designated drivers)

• Ability to lift and move equipment (50+ lbs recommended)

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
