| Description | Join Pontchartrain Conservancy Staff for March's continuing education session! This month we are focusing on the ecology of the Pontchartrain Basin! Our speaker is Mr. David Baker, a coastal scientist at Pontchartrain Conservancy. You don't want to miss what he has to say about disturbance ecology which is the study of temporary, sudden events like hurricanes and wildfires that disrupts an ecosystem. We will offer training on our rain garden/site survey activity and will learn how to make nursery pots out of newspapers. |
