Make a Difference Day 2026

Help bring CHIP’s annual Rock the House fundraiser to life! Volunteers will support event setup and help transform the space for an evening that raises funds for affordable homeownership and housing in Northern California. 🏠✨

What you’ll do:
🪑 Arrange tables and chairs throughout the venue
🌿 Prepare centerpieces and decorate event spaces
🎉 Hang event décor and help with finishing touches
🪧 Place signage and help make sure the space is event-ready

This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside fellow community members and help create a welcoming, polished space for CHIP’s annual fundraiser.

What to bring/wear:
👕 Wear comfortable clothing you can move around in
👟 Closed-toe shoes are required
💧 Water bottle 

Accessibility note:
This project takes place primarily in a covered outdoor space and may involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving tables, chairs, or décor. Volunteers may also encounter moderate noise and activity as the event space is being set up. Volunteers will work in a small to medium-sized group.
