Timeline

Once spots become available on trips, we will reach out to you with your opportunity to join.

Trip Fees

Every trip has a required fee for participants, including those who may join as participants later on in the semester. The fee varies from trip to trip as defined later in this application. The remainder of each trip’s cost will be covered by money fundraised by all of each trip’s participants together. Any trip that does not meet its fundraising goal by the established deadline will either be cancelled without refund to participants or will be required to divide the remainder of the fundraising balance between participants and leaders, depending on the decision of the Executive Board. Payment information and deadlines will be discussed further with participants after selection. For more information regarding funding and the GW Alternative Breaks Finance Policy, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email at altbreaks@gwu.edu.
