In Texas Angels we raise money for the Miracle foundation. The Miracle Foundation is a non profit organization focused on empowering orphans in India. We made cookies for our bake sale and sold them in front of Gregory gym.

Went to Graffiti park with Texas Angels and cleaned up trash around the area!
I attended the Longhorn Best Buddies with the Halloween Carnival theme from 4PM-6PM. I assisted with helping those who attended get more involved in the available activities. Everyone was dressed in halloween costumes for the theme. It was an incredible experience and I plan on attending future Best Buddies activities!
In Texas Angels we made homeless care packages and passed them out on the drag. They were very grateful and thanked us for the help. I've done this before and I'll be more than happy to do it again.
In Texas Angels we went as a group and volunteered at a Food Bank!
I'm currently in Texas Angels and we raise money for our philanthropy called the Miracle Foundation. The Miracle Foundation is a non profit organization focused on empowering orphans in India. In Texas Angels we went Panhandling at Whole Foods to raise money for the Miracle Foundation. Surprisingly many more people donated than I expected to. At first, I didn't expect much of panhandling but it turned out to be a fun experience. I will be doing it again this semester.
I enjoyed putting together homeless care packages, everyone deserves a little something for the holidays!
In Texas Angels we handed out homeless care packages that we put together. In each bag they included a scarf, a hat, toothpaste, a toothbrush and a bar of soap. We walked around on Guadalupe and handed them out to those in need.
At the beginning of the year we passed out homeless care packages on Guadalupe to those in need.
Registration and Packet Pickup was exciting and very organized. There were volunteers who sat at the computers and looked up the runners by last name to check their shirt sizes. The rest of the volunteers, including me would assist them in selecting the bags with the correct shirt size. Some runners were not able to receive shirts that day because they had registered late and we had to inform them of this; there were no issues. At some point we also started to run out of some shirt sizes but we managed. I also volunteered at the water stop after my Registration and Packet Pickup was done. Overall, I enjoyed this volunteer experience and hope to do it again. The lights were also very beautiful!
